This was a session with a neighborhood family that I love. They are always watching my kids for me and so I traded them a favor for a favor. They let me take the photos for them so I could get a “family session” under my belt. It was definitely different than taking pictures of a couple or an individual. Kids love to move and have a harder time focusing on the camera – but the extra challenges are worth the extra rewards.
My favorite type of photos in my own collection are ones of my family. I can’t get enough pictures of my own children and I’m always wanting to capture images of how they are growing up. Because I know how important my own family photos are to me, I try to make sure to get all of the photos that I would want and more when working with a family.
